we have lived in alliance nc 12 miles from new bern, where my wife works, and 40 miles from greenville. as far as i’m concerned greenville is a college ghetto town where there is a lot of crime. we hear about shootings all the time and there are lots of drug infested neighborhoods near the hospital. it’s also further away from some of the best beaches in the world
